Economic Ambitions will lead to peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
There will be peace in the Middle East. It could be sooner than many think. There are economic plans underway to create peace between Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt. It seems like a fanciful dream but I believe it’s almost certain to happen. It is more likely to happen before the dreaded Armageddon that many Bible prophecy experts point toward.
There are good reasons to expect Jews and Arabs to continue in their seemingly endless state of war. Jews hate Arabs. Arabs hate Jews. Those two simple facts are the best reasons given for continued strife. Why fix what’s already hopelessly broken? We will always see war as the only possibility between these warring brothers–or so it seems.
A family feud
They are brothers by the way. The Bible makes it clear they have a common ancestry. Abraham is the father of both family lines.
From a Bible prophecy perspective, it’s common to only focus on the coming war and devastation. The end of the world is at hand! Make War, not peace. People and groups have predicted the end of the world ever since the day Jesus drifted up into the clouds on his way up to heaven.
Jesus Ascends to Heaven
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
But peace is what we should look for, not war. If a temple is ever going to be built in Israel, (as seen here) there must be peace first. How do we get there? There are economic reasons why they will seek peace. Religious reasons keep them at war.
It’s the economy stupid!
They don’t like killing each other as much as it seems. They will stop fighting for a brief respite when they have a good reason to. That reason will be economic. Saudi Arabia is making unprecedented moves away from radical Islam. They seek to modernize their economy and bring hope to their young population.
The young people of Iran are revolting against the strict views of the Ayatollahs. The Saudi leadership wants to avoid a similar fate.
These economic ambitions are leading to bold plans that will force these warring brothers, Arabs, and Jews, to come together in peace.
