The world at war. This will not be like the wars of the past.

The World is Not Ready for Another World War. The world is not ready but it may have to get ready–and soon.

World war is threatening to make a comeback. North Korea is quickly improving their war footing. Their nuclear arsenal is unknown but frightening. Their ability to mount a nuclear warhead on top of a missile is questionable. They are doing their best to erase those questions. Another missile was launched over the nation of Japan. The Japanese nation is nervous, and we can assume, involved in negotiations to ensure their safety. Japan is a proud nation and will not tolerate the belligerent actions of the young tyrant in North Korea. There is talk of Japan acquiring its own nuclear arsenal by way of a business deal with the United States. The deal-maker in chief, Donald Trump, may be willing to make that deal. China and Russia would not be happy with Japan owning nuclear weapons. There may not be a better option.

If the world is going to war in North Korea, the United States will need a capable ally. China and Russia would happily sit back and watch. They would enjoy seeing a few nukes flying toward the U. S. mainland. They would relish the opportunity to pick up the charred and ashen pieces once the nuclear cloud has settled. Japan would not watch. They would engage. They have too much to lose. North Korea has launched two missiles over their nation already. The dictator of the North is afraid to fire at the U.S. but has decided he can threaten Japan without starting a war.

Giving nuclear weapons to Japan will change the dynamics. It might be the best option to prevent world war. Or it might get it started faster.

The world is tensely waiting to see what comes next.

The book of Revelation is the last book of the bible. It’s the end of the story. It does end well but not for everyone. War is coming–the world will never be ready for the big one.

The last war?

The bible and war

Revelation six:
Opening The Seven Seals
6 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart[a] of wheat for a denarius,[b] and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers[c] should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave[d] and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

8 Million dead in a war with North Korea

Many question the bible. Most argue it is an old book, changed many times over the years and has no relevance to today.

The prophecies of the bible fit into two categories.

Completed as described

Awaiting fulfillment.

The final wars are on schedule. I don’t expect North Korea to start things but I could be wrong. I’m no prophet, but world war is coming back. It won’t be pretty. Hopefully it doesn’t return for a while.

We’ll see.
